My intention is to break-down the current over-population crisis facing the world and understand all the aspects surrounding this issue. By recreating a “graph” I am calling to the audience’s youth, creating memories of school, a “simpler” time. The graph represents our decreasing natural resources in connection with our population increasing. I have obscured this memory by creating a sculptural graph out of materials that we would usually associate with buildings. I chose to connect my sculptures to show communication both beneficial or dangerous. The sculptures are connected using a fine thread, to represent the delicate nature of these connections.​
